Whilst exploring a small stream under a canopy of trees I came across a White Egret, slowly and silently I observed it hunting fish and witnessed it catch and devour 2 within the space of 20 minutes. Thankfully this beautiful bird allowed me in its space and was comfortable with me less than 10 meters away. I spent over 30 minutes enjoying this incredible experience and although the Egret was aware of my presence, it allowed me the opportunity to share and witness its hunting routine. This fine art image is one of a series of 4 selected from that morning.
